A word from Chris...

My philosophy is: the special partnership that is formed between you and your horse is based on the development of trust.

Horses are wonderful creatures who aim to please.  My system of training is based on the development of suppleness and balance of the horse.  It results in horses who are calm, light, even, physically and mentally strong.  By riding a horse that is not in balance, it will only lead to heaviness, irregularity, rushing and then eventually lameness and/or irritability.

My approach is not difficult.  It is many little things that the rider will learn to feel and do, and develop the judgement of knowing when to implement them, but also knowing when to do nothing.

The horse and rider need consistent training together to develop the correct muscles that allow the horse to work correctly.  Let your horse be your guide, listen to them and learn the skills that develop harmony, gymnastic ability and enjoy one of the best relationships you will ever have.

The Kings Park Equestrian Club manages all events held on the grounds.

Community: We are committed to creating a fabulous community space so when you invest in the club you are investing in the community! The stronger the club becomes the stronger the local economy.

Safe Space: The club is operated on private property, this means we can manage user groups to enjoy the grounds in harmony. For example You can be sure to enjoy a trail ride with your friends without the unexpected arrival of bikes, 4wd vehicles and the general public etc as is now a seemingly common occurrence on public trails. We are an equestrian club and welcome horses, carriage driving, bushwalking (dogs allowed on leads) but no bikes or 4wd vehicles. The club has a zero tolerance bullying policy and this gives club members peace of mind that they can truly enjoy a safe space when attending the grounds.

Love of the Horse: We love all things Equestrian! and are dedicated to creating a space for horses and their owners to thrive! Offering access to a broad range of professional services all in one place!
